Aljomar Iberian hams, shoulders, and cured meats are now available in South Africa. After two intense months, exceeding the usual export requirements, the first order of Iberian products from this Guijuelo-based brand has arrived in Africa. This achievement represents a significant step forward in the internationalization process of Jamones Aljomar, which currently distributes its products in 24 countries across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa.
The doors of South Africa have been opened thanks to the successful work of the Aljomar family and, especially, due to the effort made by the professionals in the Quality and Export departments.
The introduction of Aljomar hams, shoulders, and cured meats to South Africa is the result of a comprehensive plan that began with an in-depth analysis of South African culinary culture and culminated in a lengthy process of official certifications, which have now received the approval of the country's health authorities. South Africans now have access to all of Aljomar's cured Iberian products—hams, shoulders, loins, sausages, etc.—and will also be able to purchase ham holders sold by the brand.
