ALJOMAR

The Cycle

Aljomar is committed to a Controlled Production and Processing Cycle to achieve demanding standards of quality and food safety. This controlled production chain includes the genetic selection of raw materials, on-site feeding, slaughter, butchering, and curing in its own facilities, as well as the marketing and distribution of the final product. The various facilities required at each stage are subject to strict control systems and are fully compliant with health regulations and traceability standards.

Factory and drying facility

It is located above the 1.2 polygon of Guijuelo and its surface area is 18,000 m2. Its modern facilities are adapted to the demanding EU standards and have the capacity to cut, process and store 50,000 pigs per year.

Aljomar has become a model company from a production and hygiene standpoint. All its facilities are pioneers in the application of technological advancements, with a wise combination of temperature-controlled preservation, sorting, and manual handling of each piece throughout the entire process.
