Jamones Aljomar has just celebrated the 1st Meeting of Women in Iberian Ham, in which it has brought together more than 100 women who have been relevant in the trajectory of Aljomar, for their involvement and notoriety in the evolution of the company, the Iberian ham or gastronomy.
The event, held in Salamanca over two days, was part of the events commemorating Aljomar's 30th Anniversary this year and included a well-deserved tribute to the women who have been key figures in its history, starting with the founder Carmen Sánchez, and her daughter Carmen Sánchez, assistant to the Director.

The first Women in Iberian Ham Meeting brought together employees, clients, collaborators, and key figures who have played a significant role in the company's history. The event included a lecture by journalist and psychologist Irene Villa and an engaging panel discussion on "Women Ham Carvers at Aljomar," featuring, among others, ham carvers and specialists in Iberian ham and gastronomy.
