Aljomar donates €2,750 raised through its solidarity product to Pyfano

José Luis Sánchez, assistant to the director of Jamones Aljomar, today presented Pyfano, the association for children with cancer in Castile and León, with a check for €2,750. This sum represents the funds raised during the first quarter of the year from the sale of products from their catalog bearing the 'solidarity product' seal. Under the slogan 'It tastes great to help others ,' Jamones Aljomar launched this initiative this year to raise funds for local social causes. Aljomar is donating €1 per product for every 2017 order placed by customers that includes items bearing this seal. The president of Pyfano, Miguel Ángel Vicente Criado, and María Martín, head of Pyfano's corporate social responsibility program, expressed their deep gratitude for the company's gesture, citing it as an example of solidarity and social responsibility . Aljomar will donate these funds quarterly to the NGOs participating in the initiative, as well as to other new projects that, attracted by this initiative, have requested to be included among the recipients of this aid. The campaign is part of an ambitious Corporate Social Responsibility plan designed for 2017, a particularly important year for the brand, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary.
