We believe that supporting organizations like Pyfano is essential because of the vital work they do. It's important to remember that 1,400 new cases of childhood cancer are diagnosed in Spain each year; and of these, 22 occurred in Salamanca in 2017.
Pyfano, the Association of Parents, Family Members, and Friends of Children with Cancer in Castile and León, is a regional non-profit organization whose objective is to improve the quality of life of children and adolescents with cancer and their families. The Aljomar Family has collaborated with this organization since its founding in 2003, participating in annual galas, dinners, charity bazaars, and other events. Furthermore, last year we had the pleasure of presenting them with a check for €2,750, raised through the sale of products from the Aljomar catalog marked with the 'solidarity product' seal—an action carried out as part of the 'It Feels Good to Help Others' social campaign .
