At Jamones Aljomar, we remain committed to our 'It tastes great to HELP others' campaign and the 'Solidarity Product' seal, which centralize funds destined for collaboration with NGOs and non-profit organizations. And this month, our solidarity check has traveled to Equatorial Guinea, to the Malabo orphanage, thanks to the support of our friend Benjamín Zarandona.
Social projects related to sports are very important to the Aljomar Family because they contribute to promoting a healthy lifestyle and essential values such as effort, teamwork, and a balanced diet. This is the reason for our involvement with the social and charitable work carried out by former footballer Benjamín Zarandona in conjunction with the Real Betis Balompié Foundation, training children in Equatorial Guinea and supporting the orphanage in Malabo.
For several years, we have collaborated with these children in various ways. We have supported them in the tournaments they have played, enjoyed hosting them at our facilities in Guijuelo, donated desks and chairs for one of the classrooms at the orphanage school, and now, we have sent them this check for 2,000 euros to help them improve the center's facilities and study area.
Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives are fundamental to the Aljomar Family , supporting the important work carried out by various social organizations in our community. It is our way of committing ourselves and contributing to the shared task of making a better world.
We have long been linked to numerous entities, such as Pyfano (children with Cancer), Aerscyl (association of rare diseases of Castile and León), ADAA (association of help to relatives of patients of the Balearic Islands), Association of Deafblind People of Castile and León and Red Madre Salamanca, Red Cross or the Brotherhood of Blood Donors, among others.
The "It feels great to HELP others" campaign is an initiative that helps us channel all these collaborations and the funds we allocate.
