The Aljomar Group celebrates its 25th Anniversary with great challenges

The Aljomar Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary today with a grand event in Toledo, attended by close friends, collaborators, employees, and clients—in short, everyone who has become part of the Aljomar Family over the years. The well-known television presenter Agustín Bravo will host the event at the Hotel Auditorium Beatriz.

José Luis Sánchez, Deputy Director of Aljomar, will open the commemorative event by reviewing the present and future of this company, which is currently one of the leading producers of Iberian ham, sausages, and pork, with an annual turnover of €32 million and distribution throughout all Spanish autonomous communities and in 30 other countries. He will announce the challenges Aljomar faces in the coming years and will focus on two key strategic lines , namely the presentation of the [ Line/Product Name] . Natural Sausages and the Organic Production Project.

Carmen Sánchez, also an assistant to the director, will present the Corporate Social Responsibility Report, which reflects Aljomar's commitment to people and the importance of its collaboration with the community as promoters of a better and fairer world. This business philosophy has given rise to initiatives such as the Solidarity Product seal, which identifies certain products of the brand. Every time one of these products is purchased by a customer, Aljomar donates €1 to various social causes. Thanks to this initiative, in 2017, they donated more than €32,000 to organizations such as Pyfano, the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Red Madre, and Cascajares-Fundación Aladina.

And this event wouldn't be complete without the prestigious chef Martín Berasategui, a member of the Aljomar Family and a superb ambassador for promoting the excellence of their acorn-fed Iberian meats and hams in national and international gastronomy. Berasategui will participate in a round table discussion with Basilio Grande (Commercial Director of Aljomar), Rafael Carrasco Morón (El Refectorio Restaurant, Ceuta), and  Andrés Palacio (Rte. El Mesón Andrés, in Fuengirola).

The afternoon will be marked by "The Positive Side of Life ," featuring magician Moré and the optimism of the well-known Irene Villa. The closing dinner will highlight a family business from Castile and León. Its president, César Pontvianne, will close the Aljomar Hams 25th Anniversary event.
