We congratulate the Family Business of Castilla y León on its 20th anniversary

At Jamones Aljomar, we would like to congratulate the Family Business Association of Castile and León (EFCL) , which celebrates its 20th anniversary tomorrow. This non-profit association was founded in Salamanca in 1997 to defend family businesses in Castile and León as the driving force behind the region's productive economy and job creation. Since then, they have fostered an entrepreneurial culture and promoted the continuity of these types of businesses through family protocols.
The entity, of which we are a part, is made up of around one hundred family businesses from the nine provinces of the region, all of them leaders in their respective sectors.
To celebrate this anniversary, EFCL is promoting a benefit concert on September 14thin support of the Down Syndrome Foundation of Castile and León , an organization that trains young people to help them integrate into the workforce in companies throughout the region. It will take place at6:30 p.m.at the San Gregorio School in Valladolid ,the National Sculpture Museum . This event will also serve as a business and social gathering to commemorate these two decades of work in support of family businesses.
In addition to ticket sales, for those who cannot attend or would like to collaborate with the Down Foundation, a "zero row" has been opened to receive any voluntary contribution.
The management of Jamones Aljomar congratulates EFCL on its excellent track record, for which, as a family business, we also feel responsible. "It will be a pleasure to continue working together in the same direction in a year in which we celebrate our 25th anniversary," says José Luis Sánchez, assistant manager and second generation of Jamones Aljomar.
