It's time to start preparing for the return to school, high school, or university. And as is tradition, the University of Salamanca is pulling out all the stops to welcome the new students for the 2019-2020 academic year at the Welcome Fair .
A Fair will be held at each of the 4 Campuses that make up the University of Salamanca (Salamanca, Zamora, Ávila and Béjar) on September 17, 18, 19 and 24 respectively.
The event will feature a wide range of activities and information booths where, especially those newly arrived in the city, can learn more about the services offered by the faculty.
In addition, attendees will be able to enjoy a charity lunch where Aljomar will once again be donating its Iberian products for the preparation of more than 1,000 sandwiches. The proceeds will go to the University's Cooperation Fund.
A key new feature of this year's event is that the University of Salamanca (USAL) will have a mobile blood donation unit in front of the Oviedo Residence Hall on the Miguel de Unamuno Campus. It will be available from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for anyone who wants to donate blood. Remember, just one blood donation can save three lives!
