The Family Business Association of Castile and León, which also includes Plásticos Durex, Cascajares, Grupo Siro, Cartonajes Izquierdo, and more than 70 other companies representing all sectors, is making proposals related to employment, financing, productivity, competitiveness, business alliances, training, and innovation and technology. In this last area, they are focusing on their interest in adapting to Industry 4.0 with measures linked to the internet, collaborative robotics, augmented reality and 3D vision in factories, cyber-physical systems, big data, and cloud management; all aimed at creating smart factories with high levels of customization and the potential to significantly reduce product development and delivery times.
Among other exemplary ideas, the Family Business Association of Castilla y León also proposes activating the PUENTIA project to promote personal and business ties with entrepreneurs and family businesses from Latin America with roots in Castilla y León.
