By remaining in Vitartis, Jamones Aljomar reaffirms its commitment to its economic and social environment and to the common goal of "increasing the competitiveness of the Food Industry in this Region, promoting innovation in all areas and representing the interests of the sector before institutions, public administrations and economic and social organizations."
The assembly brought together its more than 60 members , who together represent an annual turnover of €3.7 billion and account for 40 percent of the sector's business and employment. Among the companies and institutions integrated into this organization are prominent names such as Grupo Hermi, Grupo Siro, Pascual, Cascajares , and technology partners like the University of Salamanca , the European University Miguel de Cervantes , and the Regional Union of Agricultural Cooperatives of Castile and León (Urcacyl).
