The products that Jamones Aljomar manufactures and markets already have the ISO 22000 Food Quality and Safety Certificate , an accreditation that guarantees the entire process of butchering and production of meat, hams, shoulders and sausages.
The ISO 22000 standard establishes, at a global level, the requirements for the management of food safety in organizations in the food chain and details what a company must do to control possible contamination risks and thus ensure that food is safe.
Achieving the ISO 22000 quality standard has been a major challenge for Aljomar, and especially for the Quality department, and the effort is now focused on Maintaining this certificate requires the awareness, involvement, and collaboration of all members of the Aljomar Family.
The Aljomar Group's commitment to producing healthy and safe products is a reality, and this has been reflected in our first Sustainability Report, which has just been made public on the occasion of the brand's 25th Anniversary celebration.
In addition to adhering to the standards of a prestigious certifying body such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Aljomar products comply with the Iberian Quality Standard (CALICER), the requirements of the "Tierra de Sabor" Guarantee Mark and the Guijuelo Designation of Origin, the Spanish Lactose Intolerant Association, and the Spanish Federation of Celiac Associations. Furthermore, a significant effort is made to adapt to the strict legislation applicable in the various countries to which our products are exported.
