The Association of Rare Diseases of Castilla y León – AERSCYL – was founded in Salamanca in 2014 with the intention of reaching out to those affected by rare or undiagnosed diseases and their families , and whose purpose is to defend their rights and needs.

Its main purposes are:

To welcome all those people and families who suffer from a rare disease or undiagnosed illness.

Offer emotional support and help find information about Rare or undiagnosed diseases through, among others, associations and foundations.

Provide information about the aid offered by the Administration.

Carry out activities to raise awareness of rare or undiagnosed diseases .

Signing agreements, contracts, collaborations and aid with public and private institutions to meet the needs of people suffering from a Rare Disease or Undiagnosed Disease , and to encourage their research.
