Conservation

To preserve Iberian ham in optimal condition, the following recommendations should be followed:

1. If the pallet is vacuum-packed or wrapped in any type of material that obstructs the passage of air, it must be unwrapped so that the piece can be in contact with the air and breathe.

2. It is essential that Iberian ham be stored in a cool, dry place , away from direct sunlight. Places where sudden temperature changes may occur, such as kitchens, are not recommended; cellars or storage rooms are much more suitable.
