Jamones Aljomar is dressed up to once again sponsor the most important gathering of the Spanish hospitality industry, the 14th Horeca Congress of Aecoc , which brings together around 500 managers and businessmen from the relevant companies in the sector.
And for this, what better proposal than to offer attendees the tasting of one of their star products, the IBERIAN ACORN-FED HAM Designation of Origin, a luxury product sliced by hand and on the spot by one of the master cutters of the brand based in Guijuelo, the quintessential ham-producing town in the province of Salamanca.
This congress, which will be held at the Municipal Congress Palace of Madrid on March 1 and 2 , will be attended by representatives from the entire national hospitality production chain, making it a key meeting point for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of trends, strategies and success stories.
This year, Aecoc's call for proposals for members of the Horeca channel focuses on companies' ideas for adding value to their products to differentiate them in the eyes of the consumer. During the sessions, innovative concepts related to ' healthy lifestyle ', the value of innovation in travel retail, and the most relevant techniques for growth, efficiency, and competitiveness through Big Data will be addressed.
In the coming days, Jamones Aljomar will also strengthen its brand image with its presence at the 16th AECOC Congress of Meat and Processed Products 2016 , held at the Palau de Congressos de Lleida , La Llotja, on March 8th and 9th. Livestock farmers, producers, processors, and distributors—all links in the meat sector's agri-food chain—will share strategies for improvement in sustainability and efficiency, while also enhancing the value of the primary sector, always with a focus on respect and transparency for an increasingly demanding consumer.
At this event, Jamones Aljomar will be a special focus during the gala dinner on March 8th, as diners will be able to enjoy a second course prepared by top chef Antonio Arrabal with Aljomar Iberian pork.
Furthermore, among the upcoming events where Aljomar's exquisite Iberian pork products will be showcased, Alimentaria 2016 (Barcelona, April 25-28) stands out. This major international event for the agri-food industry celebrates its 40th anniversary and has established itself as a global promotional platform and business hub. Aljomar's Iberian hams, sausages, and meats will be available to visitors at the Intercarn Pavilion, stand P5-D402.
