Alimentaria 2020 is already underway and the International Food, Beverage and Food Service Exhibition will take place from April 20 to 23, 2020 at Fira, Barcelona!
Nearly 4,500 exhibiting companies from 70 different countries, and more than 150,000 visitors from all over the world attended the previous fair.
This year, Alimentaria 2020, together with Hostelco, anticipates occupying approximately 100,000 m2 of exhibition space at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona.
The main objective of the next edition is to continue growing and offer a unique event that continues to exceed the expectations of visitors and exhibiting companies, as it does every year.
“More international business, gastronomic experiences and trends” are the headlines that will accompany and guide this new 2020 edition and which our Deputy Director José Luis Sánchez was able to learn about firsthand due to his participation in the organizing committee of Alimentaria 2020, along with other renowned companies in the sector such as Campofrío, Noel, El Pozo or Grupo Costa.
The main novelty of this edition will be the evolution of the wine sector in its own project, Barcelona Wine Week.
With this, Alimentaria 2020 will have 10 different halls among which we can find: Grocery foods, International Pavilions, Expoconser or Intercarn, the latter being in charge of hosting our Jamones Aljomar stand.
Furthermore, as we mentioned earlier, the collaboration with Hostelco (the leading trade fair in Spain for equipment for the restaurant, hotel and catering industries) will facilitate synergy between the food industry, gastronomy and the hotel sector.
