Jamones Aljomar is attending Alimentaria again this year, from April 4th to 7th, the ideal place to present the new lines of organic Iberian hams and natural sausages Aljomar, for which they will have the company of the international chef Martín Berasategui at their stand in the fairgrounds in Barcelona.
In recent years, the Aljomar Group has made significant progress in sustainability, including the production of organic Iberian pork and a line of 100% natural cured meats. Its commitment to high quality has been rewarded with certifications such as official accreditation of its organic production system , the Welfair™ Animal Welfare certification , and the Ecological Footprint Offset certificate.
Grupo Aljomar is a company in continuous evolution, attentive to the needs of its environment and the preferences of consumers, but which has always known how to maintain the natural essence of its raw materials and respect for the traditional systems of production of products derived from Iberian pigs.
The Aljomar family began its transition to more ecological livestock farming in 2018. Since 2020, its Iberian products have held European certification for their organic production system, and now, with this new line of organic products, this laborious process of adapting its entire production cycle is culminated. At Alimentaria 2022, Aljomar will present its first organic Iberian products, such as the 100% Iberian Breed Organic Acorn-Fed Loin . The company will also take this opportunity to unveil other new products, such as the Peppered Acorn-Fed Iberian Loin and Peppered Acorn-Fed Iberian Pork Loin.
The Aljomar organic farming system has been implemented in the breeding, selection, feeding, and care of Iberian pigs. Organic criteria have also been incorporated into the production and curing of all Aljomar hams, shoulders, and sausages.
These foods have not undergone any chemical treatment and contain no artificial additives. Above all, they are made with excellent raw materials: organic Iberian pork and an organic production philosophy that prioritizes animal welfare, respect for the environment, and nature conservation.
As for the 100% natural chorizos and salchichones, available in various presentations, they are made with exquisite Iberian pork, following the original Aljomar Family recipe with over 30 years of tradition, and contain no additives, preservatives, or allergens (gluten-free and lactose-free). All products are vacuum-packed in a convenient format designed specifically for the end consumer. The new Aljomar line of Iberian cured meats offers a unique, traditional flavor reminiscent of homemade sausages, made in the old-fashioned way.
