Family Business

The Gala, which will be attended by the 167 companies that currently comprise the Family Business Association of Castile and León, is a commemorative event that will celebrate “the work carried out by the association over the past 25 years in defense of family businesses and their values, which has contributed to the competitiveness and sustainable development of Castile and León.” It also aims to “highlight the role and values that define family businesses, such as commitment, deep roots, entrepreneurship, continuity, responsibility, effort, sustainability, and innovation, among others.”

Banco Santander is sponsoring this gala, in which Garrigues and AON have also collaborated.

The Aljomar family joined this regional organization 12 years ago, a decision they have always been proud of and to which they are fully committed, aiming to highlight the value of these family businesses as drivers of the productive economy and job creation in the region. More than 90% of businesses in Castile and León are family-owned and represent 70% of the regional GDP, employing 80% of the population in the private sector.
