This was the Aljomar family in the 80s, what times... those were the days of Naranjito, the first mobile phones started working in Europe, Michael Jackson released his fantastic album Thriller and that much-imitated music video...
In short, those were years of very important historical events and, among them, the most special for us took place in Seville, in the first business created in 1972 by Mr. Alfonso Sánchez Bernal, LA SALMANTINA, a delicatessen located at 73 San Jacinto Street, in the populous Triana neighborhood.
Later, on Villegas Marmolejo Street in the same town, another establishment with the same characteristics, JAMONES Y CARNES (Hams and Meats), was opened. At the end of the decade, in 1989, we took a giant step forward. In order to meet the demand for Iberian products from our businesses, Don Alfonso decided to open a factory in Guijuelo.
