All members of the Aljomar family will attend the annual meeting of the Family Business Association of Castile and León , the most important event organized by this institution. It provides an opportunity to meet with most of the member companies, spend time together, and exchange experiences over a day and a half. Among those present will be Alfonso Sánchez, founder of Jamones Aljomar; his wife and co-founder, Carmen Sánchez; and their children , José Luis Sánchez and Carmen Sánchez, both assistant directors.
The 6th Regional Congress of Family Businesses, entitled “Transformation for Growth,” will be held on June 13th and 14th at the Hotel Castilla Termal Monasterio in Valbuena de Duero . Bankia and Ernst & Young are sponsoring this event, where, naturally, attendees will also be able to sample the excellent TRIBUTO Don Alfonso Iberian ham , the group's premium brand, the result of over half a century of dedication to Iberian ham.
Over two days, a series of engaging presentations and various recreational activities will be offered. High-caliber speakers will include José I. Goirigolzarri (Bankia), Francisco Riberas (Gestamp), José Miguel Isidro (founder of Europac), Félix Eguía (Ibersnacks), Rafael Juan (Dulcesol), Mariano Silveyra (Cabify), Jorge Sendagorta (Sener), and Javier Vega de Seoane.
On Thursday, June 13, before the presentation by the prestigious chef Ángel León, you will be able to taste the Jamón Tributo Don Alfonso at the Ambivium Restaurant in the Pago de Carraovejas winery.
The taste of quality Iberian ham will be a good contrast as an introduction to the Innovation Workshop and the conference that will be given by León, known as 'The Chef of the Sea' and owner of the Aponiente restaurant, located in El Puerto de Santa María.
