The Association of Parents, Relatives, and Friends of Children with Cancer (PYFANO) visited the Aljomar facilities in Guijuelo to collect a Solidarity Check from Aljomar for €2,000. The funds come from the 'It Feels Good to Help Others' Campaign, through which Aljomar donates €1 for every product sold with the 'Solidarity Product' label.

Yesterday was National Hospitalized Children's Day, and it seemed like the perfect moment to present them with this first charitable donation of 2019. We have been collaborating with this organization since 2003, and we offer our support whenever we can because we are aware of the great work they do to improve the lives of children and teenagers with cancer and their families. Carmen Sánchez—founder of the company along with her husband Alfonso Sánchez—and her daughter Carmen Sánchez—assistant to the Director—were in charge of welcoming the members of Pyfano and presenting them with the donation.
This action is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility policy of Grupo Aljomar, which for years has carried out numerous solidarity actions to collaborate with non-profit entities at the local, regional and national levels, such as Pyfano, Red Madre, Spanish Association Against Cancer, ADAA (Association for the Support of Families of Patients in the Balearic Islands), the Aladina Foundation (through the Traditional Cascajares Capon Auction), Association of Deaf Blind People of Castilla y León, Brotherhood of Blood Donors of Salamanca, Social Cooperation Fund of the University of Salamanca, and Aerscyl (Association of Rare Diseases of Castilla y León).
