The members of the Family Business Association of Castilla y León will hold their 8th Regional Congress on June 13 and 14, focused on 'Commitment and Future' and which will be preceded by the 2022 General Assembly of Members with the renewal of the Presidency of EFCL.
As a member company of this association for 12 years, Jamones Aljomar collaborates in the organization of this leading business event in the Community and, in addition, will offer a tasting of 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham and Iberian acorn-fed loin during the gala that will take place at the Ambivium Restaurant of the Pago de Carraovejas Winery.
The congress will feature top-level speakers such as Dr. Luis Rojas Marcos, former minister Josep Piqué, athlete Teresa Perales, Colonel and geopolitical analyst Pedro Baños, and prominent businessmen such as Víctor Nogueira (Nogar), Natacha Polinaria (Sushita), and Fructuoso López (Joma).
Journalist Raquel Vaquera will be in charge of presenting the congress, which will take place at the Hotel Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena, San Bernardo (Valladolid).
The first speaker at the meeting will be Andrés Sendagorta, president of the Institute for Family Business. Following him, geopolitical analyst Colonel Pedro Baños will deliver a lecture entitled 'A New World?'
Afterwards, there will be a round table discussion to analyze the uncertainty of companies in the face of the expected economic recovery, with representatives from Joma Sport, Grupo Sushita, Grupo Nogar and EY Spain.
This first day of the congress will feature two other conferences, one by the founder of Ideas for Change, Javier Creus, on 'Why do we need to innovate - also - in business models?'; and the other by Paralympic medalist Teresa Perales, who will address motivation with 'The power of attitude'.
The second day begins with the conference 'The Challenge of Security in the Digital Economy', by Alberto Rosa, Director of the Technology and Security Area at CaixaBank. The following panel discussion will be on 'The Energy of the Future' and will feature former Secretary of State for Energy Nemesio Fernández Cuesta and representatives from the companies Lonjas Tecnología, Fortia Energía, and Expense Reduction Analysts.
Psychiatrist and science communicator Luis Rojas Marcos will speak on 'Overcoming Adversity'. His lecture will be followed by those of Mathieu Carenzo, entrepreneur, business angel, and co-founder of Venture Hub; and Alberto Z. Álvarez, president of the Antonio Álvarez Group, on “Technology and Growth”.
The closing conference will be given by the former Minister of Industry, Foreign Affairs and Science and Technology, Josep Piqué, who will offer his vision on 'The global geopolitical scenario and its impact on business'.
At the 2022 General Assembly of members , Rocío Hervella, CEO of Prosol, will step down as president after two years in the position. The Board of Directors has proposed Pedro Palomo, a businessman from Segovia and CEO of the Octaviano Palomo Group of Companies, as her successor.
