I remember the nerves of the first fairs we attended, where Alfonso himself would load the merchandise onto the truck for display. I recall one day when Adrián and I were with Alfonso, and he asked us if we had hung the invisible string to display the sausages at the fair. Mr. Adrián, with his usual nonchalance, replied to the boss: “If it’s invisible, how are we going to hang them if we can’t see them?” And, far from getting a scolding from Alfonso, it was a very funny moment, and the three of us had a good laugh.
Or the day at the famous Tarquines factory, in the afternoon, just as we were leaving for home, the fence of the sausage drying room collapsed due to the weight it had, and we spent until late emptying it and putting everything back together.
It was also very funny, in hindsight of course, the day I sent a package of papers to the Jamoncar offices with the delivery driver. Because of the importance of the papers, and to play a joke on Álvaro, I wrote "Caution! Bomb Package" on the box . During a routine traffic stop, the police saw it and held the driver for two hours, searching him and asking him what was in the package.
Or the times when, when a new laborer came in, they would send him from the cellar so that Román could give him the machine for cutting the hams .

Of course, I also remember the 15th anniversary celebration , with the big party at the Regio. And the pleasant and moving recognition ceremony, with the presentation of a plaque that Aljomar gave to several of my colleagues and me, at the Salamanca Conference Center.
I remember the trip to Germany with José Luis, the summer heat I spent in Seville during the weeks I was in the Jamoncar offices, sleeping on the balcony of the guesthouse…
In short, many things that could fill an entire book.
