The 3rd Castilla y León Food Industry Congress will be held this year in Burgos on May 23rd and 24th ! This event is shaping up to be the crucial meeting point for the sector, under the motto "GROWING BY MAKING OTHERS GROW," a vision that we at Aljomar share and that drives our active participation in Vitartis.
The congress aims to be a national forum for debate, allowing business leaders and industry experts to reflect on how the food industry can continue to be a key driver of the regional economy. During the event, more than 30 professionals will discuss various topics, including sustainability, technological innovation, brand quality, and rural development.
At Aljomar, we are especially proud of our connection with Vitartis. Our Deputy Director, José Luis Sánchez, holds the position of Vice President of the association, reflecting our commitment to promoting innovation and open collaboration. Since joining in 2014, we have worked to defend the interests of the agri-food industry in our region and foster innovation across all sectors.
Congress Program
The congress program is extensive and varied. We would like to highlight some of the activities:
- Opening performance by Arvine Danza, followed by the official inauguration with key figures such as the President of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, and the Mayor of Burgos, Cristina Ayala Santamaría .
- Presentations on critical topics such as financial and fiscal efficiency and industry leadership, with experts such as Inma Puig and Juanma López Iturriaga.
- Roundtables that will address topics ranging from environmental sustainability to technological innovation, with business leaders from prominent companies such as General Mills and Campofrío.
This event will not only highlight the relevance of the food industry in our environment but will also underline the importance of growing responsibly and sustainably, while simultaneously driving the development of our society and economy.
