This is an exclusive product, the result of 4 years of a meticulous process of adaptation to an organic production system, with certification based on the corresponding European regulation -Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 30 May 2018, on Organic Production and Labelling of Organic Products- .
In recent years, the Aljomar Group has made significant progress in sustainability, particularly in its Iberian pork production . The work undertaken to achieve a high level of quality has been recognized with certifications such as organic production system certification , Welfair™ Animal Welfare certification, and Ecological Footprint Offsetting certification.
The transition to more ecological livestock farming began at Aljomar in 2018. And since 2020, its Iberian products have held European certification for their organic production system. Now is the time to taste the first 100% Iberian acorn-fed organic shoulder hams , perfectly ripened.
The Aljomar Organic Livestock System has been implemented in the breeding, selection, feeding, and care of Iberian pigs. These organic criteria have also been incorporated into the production and curing of all Aljomar hams, shoulders, and sausages.
These foods contain no artificial additives . Above all, they are made with excellent raw materials : organic Iberian pork and an organic production philosophy that adheres to animal welfare standards, respect for the environment, and nature conservation.
