Aerscyl families are familiar with the Aljomar factory in Guijuelo

Yesterday we had a very special visit: eight families from the Association of Diseases of Castile and León (Aerscyl) , accompanied by representatives of the organization, came to visit the factory and learn about the facilities in Guijuelo, as well as the manufacturing process of our Iberian pork products... and, of course, there was also time to give them a little detox. It was a pleasure to welcome them and spend a wonderful time with them, as you can see in the photos. In addition, there was time for a photo shoot, the results of which will soon be featured in Aerscyl's 2017 calendar. We can't reveal anything more! Our relationship with this organization began last year when we accepted their invitation to participate in their annual calendar . This charitable initiative was carried out under the auspices of the General Foundation of the University of Salamanca , with which we have long collaborated in the social sphere and which has just signed an agreement with Arscyl to create the necessary legal framework for developing joint activities in areas of common interest. Aerscyl is an association whose objectives are to help and support all those people with Rare Diseases (RD) or undiagnosed diseases, its aims being the emotional support to patients and families, information about them, help from the administration, and everything that can improve the quality of life of the affected people , as well as the dissemination and support of research. At Jamones Aljomar, with this initiative we emphasize our commitment to society, framed within a broad corporate social responsibility plan that we have been developing seriously and consistently for several years.
