The Tierra de Sabor Guarantee Mark was created within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, as part of the First Promotion and Marketing Plan for the agri-food sector of Castilla y León 2008-2011. And, since its launch in 2009, Tierra de Sabor has been a benchmark in Spain, valued by the end consumer and highly recognized by professionals in the agri-food sector.
The objective of Tierra de Sabor is to promote initiatives to adapt to the market and its competitive demands in order to distinguish certain agri-food products of differentiated quality that, produced, processed and/or transformed in the territory of Castilla y León, meet the conditions and comply with the quality requirements specified in its Regulation of Use.
The use of this mark, once granted, certifies compliance with these quality requirements and allows consumers to identify them accurately.
