Aljomar Hams and the Blood Donors of Salamanca will run 'together to save lives' in the 2017 San Silvestre Salmantina race. As you know, within our Corporate Social Responsibility plan we maintain a close relationship with this entity and, now, we link it to sport and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
With this purpose in mind, we have decided to collaborate in the production of the t-shirts that the donors will wear in the race on December 31st.
So, if you are a donor, want to promote blood donation and are going to run in this traditional end-of-year sporting event, you can now pick up your t-shirt at the office of the Blood Donors Association of Salamanca (until December 29, during the usual opening hours and while supplies last).
This initiative reflects Jamones Aljomar's commitment to various social causes in our community. Furthermore, it forms part of the company's 25th-anniversary celebrations , which are being launched with our official sponsorship of the San Silvestre race . We hope that Aljomar Iberian products will be a true inspiration for the runners, boosting their drive, effort, spirit of sacrifice, and fair play—values we share with them from start to finish.
