Jamones Aljomar , in its commitment to Salamanca sport and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, has closed a collaboration agreement with the San Silvestre Salmantina of 2017 by which it becomes an official collaborator of the event, which will take place on December 31, 2017 .
This support will coincide with Aljomar's anniversary , which will be 25 years since its founding in Guijuelo in 1992 this coming December. The San Silvestre race will kick off the events the company has planned through a comprehensive program, with which they hope to reach everyone who has been and continues to be part of the Aljomar family over the years. Family, friends, customers, suppliers, and neighbors from Guijuelo and Salamanca have witnessed the company's growth, which has now become a benchmark in the Iberian ham sector both in Spain and in 30 countries worldwide, where its products are sold.
Perseverance, effort, a spirit of sacrifice, and fair play are values that are part of Jamones Aljomar's DNA, values that also define the hundreds of runners in the popular San Silvestre Salmantina race. Therefore, the company's management will become an official sponsor of the event in 2017. Aljomar thanks the Padre Basabe sports club and its president, José Antonio Molinero, for their support in associating the company's image with Salamanca's most important sporting event, which this year will bring together 7,557 athletes.
The 34th edition of the Salamanca popular race was presented yesterday at the San Estanislao de Kostka school, in an event surrounded by friends, volunteers, collaborators, and sponsors.
