Breeding
Our The center of the Iberian acorn-fed shoulder ham comes from animals raised in freedom on our farms, fed on natural resources from the pastureland and acorns so that the product has a unique flavor, texture and aroma.
Race
This product comes from 100% Iberian pigs.
Animal welfare
At Aljomar, we hold the Welfair animal welfare certification. This certification guarantees animal welfare throughout our entire production process, from the raising of Iberian pigs on our farms to the processes in our factory, ensuring the use of best practices throughout the food chain.
Conservation
To preserve Iberian ham in optimal condition, the following recommendations should be followed:
1. If the pallet is vacuum-packed or wrapped in any type of material that obstructs the passage of air, it must be unwrapped so that the piece can be in contact with the air and breathe.
2. It is essential that the Iberian ham should be stored in a cool, dry place , away from direct sunlight. Places where sudden temperature changes may occur, such as kitchens, are not recommended; cellars or storage rooms are much more suitable.
