Next Thursday, June 25th, the management team of Jamones Aljomar will be present at the Vitartis 2020 General Assembly , an annual meeting that allows us to take stock and maintain contact among the members of the organization, which is made up of agri-food companies from Castile and León, universities, and technology centers in the region that work in the agri-food sector. This connects the business and scientific-technological worlds.
The companies integrated into Vitartis have a combined turnover of around €4 billion, representing more than 47% of the region's food sector and employing over 11,000 people. Their mission is to enhance the competitiveness of the region's food industry by improving innovation across all areas and promoting knowledge transfer . It is an organization committed to our region , progress, and international expansion.
Vitartis brings together “socially responsible companies that ensure sustainability, respect the land and its produce, and add value to their processes to bring excellent quality products to the table.”
All these values and lines of work obviously imply a strong link with the business strategy of the Aljomar Group and Family.
At the assembly, which this time will be via online connection, we will address the new strategic planning of Vitartis, review the activities carried out and the arrival of new partners in recent months.
This year's meeting will also allow us to get to know five of the new members in more detail, and we will also have the opportunity to hear an inspiring presentation by international branding expert Andy Stalman, entitled 'THE ECONOMY IS A STATE OF MOOD'.
Beatriz Escudero, president of Vitartis, will open the session and we will have the intervention of the president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco.
