Aljomar will be present at the next Vitartis assembly.

On March 19th, we will participate in the General Assembly of Vitartis, the Castile and León Food Industry organization to which Jamones Aljomar has belonged for the past six years. The event will take place in Castromonte, Valladolid, at the Monastery of Santa Espina.

The planned events will feature the participation of the Director General of the Food Industry at the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. José Miguel Herrero, and will also include a presentation on "The Challenges of 21st-Century Managers" by Xavier Marcet, president of Lead to Change. The Minister of Agriculture, Livestock, and Rural Development, Mr. Jesús Julio Carnero, will close the day's events.

The assembly will serve as the forum for the launch of the 2020 corporate magazine and will also provide an opportunity to share the activities carried out by the organization during 2019, as well as to plan the actions scheduled for this year. We will also have the opportunity to meet the six new members who joined last year, each of whom will give a brief presentation of their activities.

After the assembly we will enjoy a lunch where Jamones Aljomar will provide a ham carver who will offer a tasting of our Iberian pork products.

Vitartis now comprises around 120 members, with approximately 12,000 employees and a turnover of around €4 billion. The companies integrated into Vitartis account for more than 40% of the turnover and 35% of employment in the meat sector in Castile and León. It is an organization created to promote innovation and technology in the meat industry, foster collaboration among companies, and lead the dialogue with public administrations in the Castile and León region.
