Aljomar maintains its presence at Alimentaria, postponed to May 2021

Fira de Barcelona has reached an agreement with various industry stakeholders to hold the next edition of Alimentaria from May 17 to 20, 2021. This was requested by the main companies and associations in the sector to facilitate maximum participation and an international character, "taking into account the characteristics and needs of the industry in the current context resulting from the pandemic."

Alimentaria, the most important food, beverage and foodservice trade fair in Spain and one of the most prominent in Europe, in its latest edition, together with Hostelco, brought together 4,500 companies and 150,000 professional visitors, 25% of whom were from international origin.

The president of Alimentaria, Josep Lluís Bonet, affirms that “the decision supports the majority will of the sector's production and association network, opting to hold the event in a more favorable environment and without so many restrictions on international travel. Our common goal is, as always, to be a valuable tool for the industry, its promotion, and to achieve the best possible edition and participation.”

And among the participants will be Jamones Aljomar, for whom Alimentaria has been an unmissable event for years and we can't wait to return!

In addition, our Assistant Director José Luis Sánchez is part of the organizing committee, along with other renowned companies in the sector such as Campofrío, Noel, El Pozo or Grupo Costa.

You can now rearrange your schedules, and we'll see you in Barcelona from May 17th to 20th, 2021.

Here is a summary of Grupo Aljomar's participation in the 2018 edition:
