Jamones Aljomar has already confirmed its presence at the next edition of Meat Attraction , the meat sector fair organized by Ifema and Anice (National Association of Meat Industries of Spain) from September 17 to 19 in Madrid .
This is the first time the company has had its own stand at this important event, which is expected to draw 400 exhibitors and 20,000 professionals from 50 countries. There will be business opportunities and various meetings to promote the distribution of our Iberian products and boost exports.
This year, with China as the guest importing country, pork will take center stage, as this animal is the star of the 2019 calendar in the Asian nation. Aljomar exports to 30 countries worldwide, and the Asian market, in particular, is showing increasing interest in Iberian products.
We will be exhibiting at Meat Attraction under the umbrella of the highest quality , with the invaluable presence of our brand ambassador, chef Martín Berasategui. Aljomar Hams has already reserved its space at the fair, and although there are still several months to go, preparations for the stand began weeks ago.
We will be presenting a wide range of Iberian hams, cured meats, and pork products, to which we are proud to add this year our organic Iberian pig production project and our firm commitment to marketing natural, healthy, and safe products. Our organic production plans are detailed in Aljomar's Sustainability Report, which outlines the company's economic, environmental, and social efforts. This document includes our 100% natural production line, which aligns with our company's philosophy of improving consumers' quality of life. We are talking about clean-label cured meats, chorizo, and salchichón with no additives, allergens, or colorings, allowing a wider range of consumers, including those with intolerances or allergies, to enjoy Aljomar Iberian pork products.
We will not forget the outstanding presentation of the Controlled Production and Processing Cycle, a guarantee of quality in the genetics, care, and feeding of all our acorn-fed Iberian pigs. This includes references to the Vera Vieja farm, located on the Retamal de Llerena and Campillo de Llerena estates (Badajoz), where more than 3,100 purebred Iberian sows are raised and fed; to the slaughtering phase at the El Navazo Slaughterhouse, also part of the Aljomar Group; and to the final stage of processing Iberian products at the Aljomar Ham Factory in Guijuelo.
