Next Saturday, July 7th, the 14th Renault Llucmajor Charity Tournament will take place, and we have a date with our friends from ADAA - the Association for Supporting the Accompaniment of Patients in the Balearic Islands . Aljomar Hams is once again sponsoring this important sporting event, and we're also bringing one of our charitable donations. José Luis Sánchez, Assistant Director of Aljomar, will be presenting this gift to ADAA to support their fantastic work assisting the families of patients in the Balearic Islands. These families often have to travel to various locations on the Spanish mainland for treatment, which generates expenses and inconveniences that we hope to alleviate with our contribution. ADAA supports more than 1,600 families with these travels, arranging accommodation in temporary housing in the autonomous communities where their relatives need medical treatment.
The check is for €3,000 raised through the Solidarity Product Campaign, in which, under the slogan 'It feels great to help others' , Aljomar donates €1 for every product sold bearing the seal corresponding to this charitable initiative. The funds raised in recent months will be donated to the Balearic association.
Aljomar Hams will also be present at the grand charity raffle, where 25 gourmet sachets of 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham will be given away. At the gala dinner, one of our professional ham carvers will offer attendees exquisite 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham and 100% Iberian acorn-fed loin.
The Renault Llucmajor Charity Tournament is a prestigious and highly anticipated event for the Mallorcan community ; it attracts around 500 people each year, whose charitable participation is truly needed and greatly appreciated.
