Part of the Jamones Aljomar team is currently in Germany, attending IFFA, the international trade fair for the meat industry. At this event, the latest machinery and equipment for all stages of the process—cutting, processing, packaging, refrigeration, and the auxiliary materials needed for the sale of meat and sausages—are being presented.
The fair, held every three years in Frankfurt, is an essential international event for industry and trade, with a clear focus on a raw material as valuable as meat.
This year, IFFA is presented under the theme 'Technology for Meat and Alternative Proteins', and brings together more than 900 exhibitors from 40 countries , including leading technology and market players. Last year, IFFA welcomed 63,000 trade visitors from over 140 nations.

Current trends in the sector have led this edition to focus on optimized production, resource efficiency and food safety , as well as digital solutions developed for each phase of food production.
The Aljomar professionals attending this trade fair, led by Deputy Director José Luis Sánchez, are very interested in all the new developments presented in the field of technology applied to meat processing, packaging, and distribution. Furthermore, it will be a valuable opportunity to stay up-to-date on the most innovative solutions in automation, digitalization, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
With their visit to IFFA, the Aljomar team emphasizes one of the company's core principles: the correct combination of tradition and innovation, applied to their daily work and in each of the activities carried out for the production and distribution of food derived from Iberian pork.
