Aljomar awards ADAA €3,000 at its successful event

The €3,000 was raised in the second quarter of the year through the sale of their "solidarity products".
Last Saturday, the Renault Llucmajor Charity Golf Tournament was held, an annual event that takes place in Mallorca and is already one of the most important tournaments of the year in golf, in favor of ADAA, the Association for the Support of the Sick in the Balearic Islands , where aljomar collaborates as a co-sponsor.
Under the slogan 'It tastes great to help others', JAMONES ALJOMAR launched this initiative this year to raise funds for local social causes as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility plan. Aljomar is donating €1 per product for every 2017 order placed by customers that includes items bearing this seal.
On this occasion, the €3,000 , raised in the second quarter of the year from the sale of these products, were delivered by Jose Luis Sanchez, assistant to the management of Jamones Aljomar to ADAA , an association that carries out a commendable work of supporting the families of patients from the Balearic Islands, who, for their treatment, have to travel to other parts of the peninsula; with the expenses and inconveniences that this entails.
José Luis and master cutters from Aljomar brought the Iberian touch to the gala dinner with our star products, 100% Iberian breed acorn-fed ham and 100% Iberian breed acorn-fed loin.
This latest edition saw a record number of registrations with 200 players and more than 400 guests at the gala dinner, thanks to which money was raised so that this association can continue its work.
The management of Aljomar are aware of their social responsibility as a company and with this initiative they are doing their bit to make a better world.
