On November 21st and 22nd, Salamanca will be the setting for a highly relevant event for the family business sector, hosting the VI Interregional Meeting of Family Businesses. This meeting will bring together family business associations from Madrid, Castilla y León , Extremadura, Andalusia and Castilla-La Mancha, in a unique framework to strengthen ties between family businesses from different regions.
Organized in collaboration with major sponsors such as Abanca, Cuatrecasas and Sanitas, the event will feature a program of activities designed to to promote learning, the exchange of experiences and networking in an unparalleled cultural and historical environment .

Our 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham will be the star of the welcome cocktail which will kick off the events at the Casino de Salamanca, a small tribute to the quality and tradition of our land, which we are proud to share with businesspeople from all over Spain.
On Thursday, November 21, attendees will enjoy a welcome lunch and a visit to Jamones Blázquez in Peñaranda de Bracamonte, before touring Salamanca City Hall and the historic University building. These activities will highlight the region's rich cultural and gastronomic heritage.
On Friday the 22nd, the iconic Palacio de Fonseca will be the central hub of the event. The day will feature a presentation by economist José Carlos Díez, who will address 'The Economic Map of Spain: A Game of Inequalities or Equilibrium?'. There will also be a round table discussion with prominent family business leaders such as Carmen San Martín, CEO of Bodegas De Alberto, and Isabel María García, honorary president of the El Fuerte hotel group.
The grand finale will be provided by film director Rodrigo Cortés, with his inspiring lecture 'From Salamanca to Hollywood: a cinematic dream', which promises to be a true journey of emotions.
The closing remarks will be delivered by Juan Manuel Corbacho, Rector of the University of Salamanca, who will highlight the importance of these meetings in continuing to promote the role of family businesses as an economic and social engine.
