Aljomar Hams celebrates its 30th Anniversary

Jamones Aljomar is celebrating its 30th anniversary these days, three decades of an unquenchable passion for Iberian ham that had its origins in Guijuelo (Salamanca) and today is transmitted throughout the world, together with a great international ambassador such as the prestigious chef Martín Berasategui.

The flavor and expertise of Aljomar hams are present in more than 30 countries , constantly reaping successes, such as the latest recognition received by Aljomar 100% Iberian Acorn-Fed Ham, winner of the Food of Spain Award for Best Iberian Ham , awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.

This charcuterie company has embraced change and adapted to the passage of time with great skill, innovating, growing, improving… but always with the utmost respect for tradition and the natural environment that allows it to be what it is.

Over these 30 years, Jamones Aljomar has grown from 6 to almost 300 employees, from a small grocery store to a complete Controlled Production Cycle , which  It begins with the breeding of Iberian pigs on its own farm in Vera Vieja, passing through the El Navazo slaughterhouse (Fuentes de Béjar) and its Aljomar factory in Guijuelo, always offering the highest quality. information and transparency to the consumer. Aljomar takes care of every step in the food chain, with the aim of offering demanding standards of food quality and safety .

ALJOMAR's 30th ANNIVERSARY is a milestone for a company with solid roots that is both the present and future of the Iberian sector.
