The 2020 Sustainability Report. A responsible look towards the future

Aljomar Sustainability Report

Jamones Aljomar has published its 2020 Sustainability Report, which details the company's productive, economic, and social activities throughout a truly challenging year. During this time, many of the strategies and projects planned before the outbreak of the Covid pandemic were turned upside down. Even so, the Aljomar family, dedicated for three decades to producing acorn-fed Iberian pork products, presents a document that looks to the future with optimism. As Deputy Director José Luis Sánchez states, "Aljomar is both the present and the future of Iberian pork worldwide, and we are proud of the quality of the Iberian products we bring from the pastureland to the tables of millions of consumers around the globe."

In 2020, Jamones Aljomar's Corporate Social Responsibility strategy took on special importance, but so did the closer relationship with collaborators, distributors and friends , giving their support and offering new tools and ideas to move forward, continue growing and open new markets.

Despite everything, the company has tried to maintain the roadmap set at the beginning of 2020, heavily focused on the production of organic Iberian pork and a line of 100% natural cured meats . As a result, they achieved accreditation for their high level of quality with certifications such as the official certificate for their organic production system , the Welfair™ Animal Welfare certification issued by AENOR, and the Ecological Footprint Offset certificate.

The 2020 Aljomar Annual Report details the operation of this charcuterie company located in Guijuelo, one of the top 10 producers of Iberian products in Spain and an exporter of hams, sausages and Iberian pork to more than 30 countries worldwide.
