Jamones Aljomar is at Salón Gourmets 2025, the most important food fair in Europe, to present its latest innovation: the new range of hams and shoulders without nitrites, 100% natural.

Nitrifying agents, such as nitrites and nitrates, are additives traditionally used in the curing of sausages and hams to develop color, enhance flavor, and act as antimicrobial preservatives. However, their elimination is in response to a growing demand for healthier and more natural products, without sacrificing the flavor and quality of Iberian tradition.
The new line of Aljomar Hams maintains the essence of its slow and artisanal curing, guaranteeing a pure, healthy product full of nuances, thanks to the free-range rearing of its 100% Iberian pigs and a natural diet.
With this proposal, the company reaffirms its commitment to innovation and gastronomic excellence, offering consumers and chefs a more natural alternative, aligned with the trends of the gourmet market.
Aljomar is at Salón Gourmets, in Hall 5, Stand 5H02, from April 7th to 10th at IFEMA Madrid.
