Last weekend, employees of Jamones Aljomar participated in a comprehensive environmental awareness workshop, part of the company's ongoing training and best practices program for its staff. This activity, which brought together 50 employees from various Aljomar departments, covered and analyzed aspects related to the environmental responsibility required in the production of acorn-fed Iberian pork products .
Thus, the workers learned in depth about the new Sustainability Report published this year by Jamones Aljomar, which includes the objectives and measures undertaken to fulfill its commitment to nature.
The company is aware of the need to control its Ecological Footprint , the impact of its production on the environment, and that is why during this awareness day aspects related to waste, water or energy were addressed, analyzing them from different points of view and providing solutions for management and use.
Those attending the event received updated information on best practices in environmental management applied to their professional work, as well as to their personal lives and daily activities.
