Constantly striving to ensure the healthy properties of their products, Jamones Aljomar is ready to ensure that their hams and pork shoulders, in all their formats, are lactose-free. Following a cleaning and subsequent fermentation process, lactose is eliminated from the list of product ingredients, resulting in 100% removal.

ADILAC (the Spanish Association for Lactose Intolerance), which comprises the collective of lactose intolerances in Spain, certifies that JAMONES ALJOMAR S.A., dedicated to the commericialisation of Iberico pork products, has had an ongoing cooperative agreement with the association currently in force since February 2010.

After an analysis of independent lab certifications of ALJOMAR products, ADILAC concluded that the ALJOMAR Iberico hams and pork shoulders are of interest to their members.
